The article considers previously unpublished manuscripts, several collections of poems, and scientific articles of the author, a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan TanirbergenAmrenov, supplementing poet's literary heritage. At the same time, unknown facts of the poet's creative biography, his difficulties in childhood and adulthood, his activities in rural areas and in the city, reasons for further moving to Russia are comprehensively investigated.
The study describes his way of thought and worldview, poetic position and range of the continuer of the poetic tradition of Abai, poet, musician, chronicler T. Amrenov, as evidenced by his works and creative life path.
The innovative poet, who went through difficult times, boldly criticized some unpleasant things, negative features in human behavior. According to archival data, he was sentenced to 25 years for these critical poems, on various political charges and for «opposing the government». Our point of view can be confirmed by the absence in collections of published poems by T. Amrenov of a preface about his life and poet's work.
The article details and analyzes lyrical poetry, full of longing for the homeland, children and loved ones, depicting dark aspects of the life of a poet who suffered in exile for several years, and priceless works of a citizen poet who craves truth, freedom and justice.Evidence of this is new information about T. Amrenov and his unknown, unpublished works, obtained from manuscript fund of the library of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and many archival sources.

The main purpose of the article is to identify poetic style of creativity and unpublished works, nature of T. Amrenov's lyrical personality, and to show ideological and thematic originality of his poetry.
