THE CONCEPT OF "HOMELAND" IN THE LANGUAGE CONSCIOUSNESS OF COLLEGE STUDENTS

Abstract

This article presents a study of the concept of "Homeland" in the linguistic consciousness of students of a secondary special educational institution. The research method was a survey of students of the Semey Geological Prospecting College, covering three substantive blocks: 1 block - identification of linguistic representations, stereotypes, value orientations and worldviews representing the concept of "Homeland" in the minds of students; 2 block - study of cultural associations and images associated with the concept of "Homeland" in the minds of students; Block 3 is the study of the hierarchical structure of the concept of "Homeland" in the minds of students. Based on the data obtained, we trace the focus of the surrounding space and its emotional perception, which allows us to talk about the priority of intuitively and emotively on linen -sensually on linen. As the study shows, the "place of birth and residence" is the core structure of the concept of "Homeland". This reflects the proximity of the linguistic picture of the world of this group of concepts to the national quarantine of the world . The levels of emotional perception are of particular importance in describing the content component of the concept of "Homeland". The results of the study can be used for a deeper understanding of the cultural characteristics of Kazakhstan, as well as for the development of intercultural communication.
