Submissions
Rules for Authors
A scientific article should present the initial, intermediate, or final results of scientific research, experimental work, or analytical activity. It must contain original, unpublished material, including the author's new findings, conclusions, and proposals.
Articles must be submitted electronically in one of the following formats: .doc, .docx, or .rtf.
Submissions should be uploaded via the journal’s website: https://philological.vestnik.shakarim.kz/index.php/my/index. To use the portal, registration on the site is required.
For the purpose of anonymous (double-blind) review, authors must submit two versions of the article:

In one issue of the journal, an author can publish no more than two articles, including co-authorship. The number of co-authors for a single article should not exceed three.
Formatting Requirements:
Font: Times New Roman
Font size: Main text – 12 pt; Abstract, footnotes, and references – 10 pt; Tables – 9-11 pt
Line spacing: 1.0
Page margins: Top, bottom, left, right – 2 cm
The length of the article (excluding the title, author information, abstract, footnotes, and references) should be between 2,500 and 7,000 words.
Structure of the Article
IRSTI Number: Indicated in bold, aligned to the left at the beginning of the article (obtain from: http://grnti.ru).
Author Information: Centered and in bold. Include:
- Full name (e.g., T.S. Sairambaev)
- Full institutional affiliation, country, city
- Email address for correspondence
- ORCID number (see registration instructions: https://orcid.org/)
Title: Centered and in uppercase letters. It should clearly reflect the content and focus of the article, be concise and informative, and avoid jargon and abbreviations.
Abstract. A concise summary (150–300 words) of the study’s purpose, methods, main results, significance, and scientific/practical value. Must be provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
Keywords: At least 5 keywords or phrases in Kazakh, Russian, and English to aid in indexing and topic classification.
Main Text Structure:
Introduction: Includes rationale for topic selection, problem relevance, and research objectives.
Materials and Methods: Describes the research materials, procedures, and methods in detail, including both qualitative and quantitative characteristics.
Provides an overview and analysis of key national and international research related to the topic, assesses the scientific contribution of the cited works, and positions the current study within this context.
Results and Discussion: Presents and analyzes research findings. Includes comparisons with previous studies, interpretation of results, and scientific conclusions.
Conclusion: Summarizes the study, confirms the validity of conclusions, and discusses implications and potential applications. Should include:
Research goals and methods
Main results and conclusions
Future prospects and practical applications
Figures, Tables, and Other Visuals
Visual elements (figures, maps, photos, tables, formulas) should be created using computer software.
Figures:
Numbered with Arabic numerals
Title centered below the figure (e.g., Figure 1 – Title of the Figure)
Total visuals should not exceed 20% of the article’s volume
Tables:
Introduced in the text after the first mention or on the following page
Number and title aligned to the left above the table (e.g., Table 1 – Table Title)
If continued on the next page, repeat column headers and indicate (e.g., Continuation of Table 1) on the right side
References
References must be formatted according to GOST 7.1–2003: Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules for compilation.
In-text citations should be indicated by square brackets, e.g., [1].
The reference list should include at least 10 sources, with at least 20 % in English.

At the end of the article, for each author, the full name of the author (authors), academic degree, title, place of work, country, city, contact information (e-mail), Orcid are indicated in three languages.
After the author submits the article, the editorial board of the journal checks the submitted work for compliance with the requirements (anti-plagiarism, design, review, etc.) within two weeks.
