Abstract. The article examines the linguistic and stylistic features of Mukhtar Magauin's novel-dilogy "Alasapyran" as a reflection of national identity. The relevance of the work is determined by the need to study the role of language in the formation and strengthening of national consciousness in the context of historical and cultural changes. The purpose of the study is to identify the lexical, syntactic, and stylistic tools used by the Online Store. In particular, linguistic and stylistic means are considered at the phonetic, syntactic and lexical levels. The main lexical, figurative and expressive linguistic means used by the author in the interpretation of the ideological and artistic content of the dilogy "Alasapyran" are analyzed separately. It is considered how such techniques as comparison, metaphor, epithet, hyperbole, periphrasis, litote, acrothesis, author's occasional, parcel, stylization serve the author's idea as a means of creating a writer's own conceptual system in a dilogy.
The significance of the article lies in a deep analysis of stable expressions in the artist's works, the use of artistic words, and their influence on the formation of the national literary language. In particular, it is analyzed that the author borrowed from the phraseological composition of the national language what is necessary and used them as variously as possible. The author's aphorisms were also identified and analyzed in terms of linguistic and stylistic characteristics.
The methods of linguistic, semantic and linguistic analysis are used in the work. The study concluded that these linguistic tools are important for the formation of national consciousness, which paves the way for further study of national identity.
