ABAI’S PEDAGOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL VIEWS

The article presents valuable opinions of scientists who considered pedagogical and psychological approaches in the work of Abay. Abay is a spiritual teacher, a psychologist of the Kazakh people, this also manifested itself in the analysis of his works. Despite the fact that Abay did not write special works on psychology, in many of his poems and statements it is not difficult to find different opinions related to the diversity of problems in this science. The works of the thinker-poet reflect the correlation of general psychology – soul and body, the functions of upbringing and education on the path of human psychological development, as well as certain issues of child psychology and social psychology.
The article deals with the works «Caress the ear, the melody and the word», «You are the pupil of my eyes», «Dzhigits, dear laughter, not buffoonery», «Until you know, be quiet», «Be selective in your path», ««« did not think about knowledge, as I was young» «Believe in yourself, pull yourself out, Mind and work only upliftin» and examples from the words of edification in which the poet raises pedagogical and psychological.The poet's work was compared with the current pedagogical and psychological activities. The works of the poet are of high value for education, the development of science, the development of moral qualities.
The philosophical and pedagogical views of Abai Kunanbaev on the problem of moral education are considered. Particular attention is paid to the fundamental universal problems of the formation of moral positions and moral values in the life of every person. The impact on the minds and feelings of people, the renewal of society, the deep respect for human dignity are the characteristic features of Abay's work. This can be traced in the poems: «I didn't write songs for fun», «Let those who understand hear the words of the sage», etc.
