Ideas of Abai's enlightenment in the works of Tair Zhomartbaev

Abstract

The article examines the specifics of the problems of Taiyr Zhomartbaev's work: encouraging young people who strive for study, art and education, hard work, issues of nurturing moral qualities in the younger generation, as well as the successive role of the writer in continuing the educational ideas of Abai. It is known that T. Zhomartbaev, who grew up on the poetry of Abai, who passionately called on young people from a young age to get involved in art and education, is himself a writer who actively embodied in the environment around him the breadth of thinking, humanistic ideas and educational ideas formed and developed by Abai, Ibrai Altynsarin, Akhmet Baitursynov. The article examines the literary heritage of T.Zhomartbaev, who continued the poetic traditions of Abai; It was revealed that he, drawing inspiration from the works of Abai and appreciating the poetry of the great poet, made a great contribution to the dissemination and popularization of Abai's poems among the people, and in every possible way realized the educational ideas embedded in them. Considering the fact that it was impossible for those who truly loved and appreciated art not to strive for such a great figure as Abai, we see that T. Zhomartbaev did not remain aloof from this undertaking, and it was by no means fruitless. He was always among the poets who highly appreciated Abai's poetry and tried to follow his aesthetic principles to the best of their ability. The author of the article pays special attention to the writer's extensive work on promoting the ideas of the great poet. The book "Balalarga zhemisi" (Fruits to Children) is a reflection of his main educational ideas. The main themes of the works in the collection are education, personality formation, and the solid acquisition of knowledge by children. The educational ideas expressed by Kazakh educators in the late 19th and early 20th centuries certainly awakened the oppressed people who suffered from the shackles of colonialism. Among these educators is the name of the humanist Taiyr Zhomartbayev.
